Of Mice and Men.

Elise and Jessie

Elise and Jessie did a fantastic job on their literary analysis. It really portrayed the book well and was filled with emotion. The way Lennie is affected by the death of the puppy and what drives him to kill Curley's wife was very intense. It made me realize how much I should put in emotions that tap into the readers heart in our analysis rather than just summarizing the book. This analysis makes me want to read this book for myself.

That Summer

Paul and Kay

Paul and Kay did the unthinkable with their lieterary analysis. It is of upmost excellence as if written by the author, Sarah Dessen herself. they superbly depicted lifes dilema's through the main character Haven. It shows that speaking up for yourself gets one recognized and finally brings their opinions into a greater contex of imporance. However, unlike Paul and Kay I judge a book by its cover and will therfore never read this book.

A Child Called "It"

Salman/Peanut

I beileve that the two of them did a superb job on this book. I have also read this book in addition, to the etinre series. It is a very emotion book and with quite the disturbing and complex plot. Having said that they did a very swell job on summarizing and interpreting the plot of this novel and desrve 4.5 out of 5 starts in my opinion. I can not wait to review more of this groups anaylsies.

Little Brother

 Mary Paulino

I think Mary did a really great job on her literary analysis of the novel 'Little Brother' written by Cory Doctrow. The book is very interesting and i would say it definately egages teenage readers as the main characters are all teenagers. Mary's analysis were in depth but to the point which made it easy to understand. Her review can help people know what the book is about and understand it without even reading it.

 The Afterlife

Salman and Jessica

Salman and Jessica did a great job explaining the story. From what I've heard, the novel sounds very emotional and it seems like a few life lessons can be learnt while reading this book. The two did a good job because just by reading their summaries i feel like i know alot about the book and I know what the main plot of the story is. Their analysis makes me eager to read the novel.

Premonitions

Mary Paulino

Mary explained this novel very well and in great detail. This novel sounds really interesting and quite emotional considering the young girl went through so much. She lost her mother and became very emotional and depressed and family and friends around her couldnt understand what she was going through. Reading Mary's analysis I now know alot about the novel and I would definately consider reading it.

Paul DeCosta and Kay Luis Pena

Paul and Kay read the novel The Alchemist. Their literary analysis enlightening as it explained the story well and explained the theme and tone of the novel. By reading their analysis I can agree with Paul and Kay and say that this novel is very inspirational and shows that you as a person must be determined in life to achieve your dreams and goals. Santiago was very determined and although he did not physically find treasure he found his treasure on the inside.

Salman Dewji and Jessica Furst

Salman and Jessica read The Fight Club. Their Literary analysis was in great depth but also to the point so it was easy to read and understand the novel. The novel seems incredibly exciting especially for those are love action and are into fighting and fast paces. I think it was quite interesting that in the end Tyler was actually just a pigment of the narrators’ imagination. The twist in the novel makes it sound really enticing and hard to put down.

Clarisa Vulpe

Clarisa read the novel The Book of Time. This novel sounds incredibly enticing and engaging. The plot sounds very mysterious and from reading Clarisa’s literary analysis I can tell that the novel involves a lot of action. Form getting attacked by Vikings to saving someone’s life in World War Two! The secret room sounds very mystifying. This book seem like it would be really attention-grabbing to those who enjoy reading mysteries and action novels.

Elise Pachinski, Jessie Vogt and Dean Holiday

Elise, Jessie, and Dean read the novel The Kite Runner. Their literary analysis was extremely informative. The novel sounds very intriguing and could potentially be really interesting to others people in society considering it is connected to current events happening in the world right now. The novel seems very thought provoking. I wonder why Baba didn’t like his son Amir as much as he liked his son Hassan.

Elise Pachinski, Jessie Vogt, and Dean Holiday

Elise, Jessie, and Dean read the novel Unwind by Neal Shusterman. Their literary analysis provoked my thoughts on the novel and hearing that the novel is about teenagers really engages me. This novel seems like it highlights the experiences teenagers go through in everyday life but in a different and unusual way. Most parents want their children to do things that the children do not want to do and this novel shows how these teenagers escape this problem.
Paul DeCosta and Kay Luis Pena

Paul and Kay read the novel Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt. Their literary analysis was very informative and in depth. This analysis gave me a deep insight into what the  novel is about. Reading this analysis have pulled my interest into reading this novel as i feel it would be very enlightening. In the novel the children start off with such trauma and are very disobedient but as the novel continues the children grow to be very well mannered and it becomes a happy ending for all.
Salman Dewji and Jessica Furst

Salman and Jessica read the novel The Battle Of The Labyrinth by Rick Riordan. Their literary analysis is very informative and gives me a good idea of what the novel entails and what it is about. This novel sounds like it would be very interesting to people who enjoy adventure and mystery genres. The novel also sounds quite mythological because its associates God and mortals. I think this book would be very interesting to read.

Clarisa Vulpe

Clarisa read the novel The Eyes Of The Dragon by Stephen King. Her literary analysis as very intriguing and in depth. It definately made me interested in the book and made me consider reading it. This novel could appeal to many because of the fact that it is based on sibling rivalry which is what many people experience within their families. I like the fact that Clarisa connected this novel with the Biblical allusion of Cain and Abel, the two brothers that fought and did not like each other. This novel is very intriguing.

Jessie Vogt, Elise Pachinski and Dean Holiday

Jessie, Elise, and Dean read the novel Rebecca by Dapne Du Maurier. Their literary analysis was extremely intricate and in depth. The details were very specific yet they were straight to the point. I've already read the novel Rebecca so I am aware of the story line but for someone who has not yet read the book, this analysis is great because it tells every important part in the story and gives an insight into what the story is about. Jessie, Elise, and Dean did a good job with this literary analysis.

 Salman Dewji and Jessica Furst

Salman and Jessica read the novel A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer. Salman and Jessica's literary analysis was really good. The novel sounds really interesting and i think readers who like drama stories would love this book. Reading their analysis has intrigued me and has made me really want to pick up this book and read it. It sounds like a story i would recommend however it sound very sad. I feel really bad for the young boy. He had to endure all that hate and pain sadness caused by his own mother and there was no one around to help him. A Boy Called It sounds like a sad story but a good read. Im sure this novel would be very inspiring to some.

 Clarisa Vulpe

Clarisa read the novel Early Dawn by Catherine Anderson. Her literary analysis was interesting and it told the story well. The analysis really gives the reader an idea of what the novel is about and whether or not they might like to read it. Clarisa tells us that this novel is a romantic novel and she gives it a great recommendation. From reading Clarisa's literary analysis I think I might like to read this novel some time soon. I think its great that the story has a moral and teaches men how to treat a lady nicely.

 Taylor Dillingham

Taylor Dillingham read the novel Black Horses For The King by Anne McCaffrey. Taylor's analysis was quite enticing. I think this novel would definitely be a great read for readers who enjoy the action packed theme. The story sounds interesting and quite detailed but Taylor did a great job explaining the ins and outs of the novel. It was quite shocking to hear that Iswy hurt the poor horse Spadix. Thats the sad part about the book but other than that it seems like a fun book to read.
